Obituary of Norma Jean Miller

NORMA JEAN MILLER Passed away peacefully on April 8, 2017, in her home with family at her side in Lino Lakes at the age of 80 years young. She retired from Hoglund, Chwialkowski & Mrozik as a dedicated and hardworking chief file clerk. She is preceded in passing by her husband, James (Jim), son Kirk and baby son, parents John and Viola Roen. Survived by her daughter Robin (Phil) Nori; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, sisters Rita Erickson, Donna Little, Mary (Dennis) Delvin, brother Edward (Shirlee) Roen, other relatives and friends. Norma Jean was a kind and gentle soul with the grace and beauty of an Old Hollywood starlet. Her childlike curiosity and playfulness allowed her to be adventurous and find great joy and delight in the world. She was most famous for her hugs, as they were always full of love from the deepest place in her heart. Her love for children was unconditional, and one of her greatest joys was spending time with them. She will always will be deeply loved and missed. Until we meet again... The family offers a special thank you to all who have visited, prayed and cared for Norma. A celebration for life will be held at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1 North Road, Circle Pines, MN 55014, on May 5, 2017, at 11:00, visitation will be one hour before service and a light lunch after service. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and memorial please give to an organization of your choice or Allina Health Hospice Foundation (donate.allina.com/foundation-web-sites/hosp/support-allina-health-hospice-foundation).
