Obituary of Morris Rasmuson

RASMUSON, Morris D., “Butch”, of Monticello, passed away suddenly on April 10, 2017. Born to Morris S. and Anne (Leuer) Rasmuson on May 24, 1939. Butch grew up in NE Mpls and after graduation from Edison High, he served with the 82nd Airborne in the US Army. He married Corrine Bourgeois on August 2, 1964. They made their home in Monticello and were blessed with three children. Butch made an impression on all those he met with his irreverent and unpredictable sense of humor and fondness for his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and an infant daughter, Angeline. He will be missed by his son, Anthony (Teresa); daughters, Angela Rasmuson (Kevin), and Monica Yeager (Shawn); grandchildren, Alexa, Annie, Corina, Elise, Sarah and Alexander; relatives and good friends.
