Obituary of Kerri J. Russell

Kerri J. Russell, age 50, of Esko, passed away July 21, 2018 at Essentia St. Mary's in Duluth, after a 13 year battle with cancer. She was born in Golden Valley, MN, to James and Linda Russell, and graduated from Esko High School in 1986. Kerri worked at Central Sales in Duluth and Esko, most recently at Elite Tinting & Graphics in Duluth. Kerri had a smile for everyone, loved NASCAR and was a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan. She was always eager to help family and friends. She was preceded in death by her dad, James Russell. Kerri is survived by her mother, Linda Russell; brothers, Joel Russell (Lynn Koski), Jason Russell, sister Lorri (Ed) Schumann; seven nieces and nephews; and the love of her life, Phil Birdseye, and dog, Tig. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Sande, all the staff at Essentia Health Cancer Center, and all the staff on 9 West Oncology. Visitation: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a Memorial Service at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth.
