Obituary of Gary Borchardt

Gary Borchardt, 68, of Belle Plaine, passed away suddenly at his home Monday, April 17, 2017. Gary was born in New Prague, graduated from Prior Lake and served in Vietnam. Upon his return from service, Gary wed Gail Zimmerman. They had three boys, Daniel, Guy and Jerad. He then pursued his electrical career and obtained his contractor license in 1978 in which he worked for 39 years. Gary is preceded in death by Norman Borchardt. Survived by mother, Millie; sons, Daniel, Guy and Jerad; sister, Lynn Cassem; and granddaughters, Brittany and Samantha. Memorial Service will be held at the Prior Lake VFW Post 6208, 16306 Main Ave. S.E., Prior Lake, MN 55372, Saturday, May 6 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior.
