Obituary of Kathryn Ann Davidson

Kathryn Ann Davidson, 57, left the earth for the heavens on April 18, 2017.

Kathy was a Duluth East High School graduate from the class of 1977. She followed in her mother’s and maternal grandmother’s footsteps and became a Registered Nurse after getting her degree from Montana State University Bozeman. Kathy was a loving and conscientious caretaker to her many patients. An avid skier, she preferred the mountains for her travel nurse assignments but also loved surfing in Hawaii, where she lived for a few of her assignments.

Kathy is so dearly loved and missed. Kathy is survived by her mother, Mary Lennan; sister Terri Blessing; sister Karen Lennan; and niece Lauren Nelson. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Allan Dale Davidson.

Kathy loved the outdoors and hiked many trails with her beloved dog Yogi in Utah and New Mexico. The family requests memorials in her honor be directed to the National Parks Foundation.

A celebration of her life will be at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Edina Chapel, 7110 France Avenue, Edina MN on Friday, April 28th in Edina at 1 p.m. There will be an hour of gathering before the 1:00 service and reception following the service until 4:00 PM.
