Obituary of Bonnie LeJean Meismer

Bonnie LeJean Meismer, 74, of Duluth passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at her home. She was born Sept. 29, 1942 in Duluth to Dorothy and Emil Aubut. Bonnie loved her family deeply and was deeply loved in return. She was gifted with words, and her cards to family members reflected both this gift and her great love for them. Bonnie had a genuine faith in God. The family takes comfort in knowing that she is safe and secure in God's loving arms and they will see her again. She is preceded in death by her husband David Meismer; her father Emil Aubut; and brothers James and Gary Aubut. Bonnie is survived by her loving mother Dorothy Aubut; her sister Sharon (Patrick) Alexander; daughter Beri (Mark) Boyer; sons Laurel Ecklund and James (special friend Shelly Andrews) Ecklund; grandchildren Morghann, Ian and Jeremy Boyer, Crystal (Chris) Lillo, Felicia Ecklund and Dalton Ecklund, and Matthew Ecklund; great-grandchildren Lucas and Eva and many other family members. A private family gathering will take place this spring.
