Obituary of Raymond John Syverson

Age 80, passed away peacefully on April 20th, 2017 in Minnesota. Born in Sisseton, SD July 2, 1936 and lived his adult life in Plymouth, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond Sr. and Emma, sister Doris and brother Dean. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years, Barbara (Henningson), son Scott (Steve), daughter Sandi (Ron), granddaughter Alyssa, his sisters Patty, Videll and Beth, as well as extended family and many wonderful friends. Ray loved to hunt, fish, wear his hair hats, baseball caps, drive his red pickup truck while listening to country music and spending time up north. But most of all, he loved his family! We will miss his incredible smile and laughter (ya sure). A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 6th from 1-4pm (2pm service) at First Memorial Chapel-CSM located at 7110 France Ave S, Edina, MN 55435.
