Obituary of Joan H. Schnuckle

Joan H. Schnuckle, 85, of Duluth, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017, in Viewcrest Health Center in Duluth. Joan was born Dec. 12, 1931 in Duluth to Ben and Emma Benson. She worked for Target for 25 years, until her retirement in 1990. Joan loved gardening, motorcycle riding, fishing, camping, and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her second husband William Schnuckle; parents; and her brother Pete Benson. Joan is survived by her daughters, Rita (Larry Sr.) Reinke, Annette (Jerry) Walkowiak, and Sherri Lynn Roesner; grandchildren Larry Reinke Jr., Tim Reinke, Jacob Walkowiak, Katie (Brady) Nordin, and Jeffery (Candi Ninneman) Roesner; great-grandchildren Natalie Reinke, Larrisa Devich-Reinke, Alexis Devich-Reinke, Alexander Nordin and Hailey Nordin; sister Jan (Bob) Abernethy; and several nieces and nephews. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Cancer Society, ASAP for Animals, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
