Obituary of Marilyn Chambers- Taylor

It is with great sorrow that we regret to inform you on the passing of our amazing mother, Marilyn Chambers-Taylor, on April 26, 2017. After a yearlong struggle with esophageal cancer, she left this life on earth at the tender age of 67. Marilyn was born to Joe Bibbs Sr. and Delree (Wade) Bibbs on October 4, 1949 in Henderson, KY. There she was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church. Growing up she was known for her remarkable seamstress work creating show stopping outfits for her and her sister and also know for those “legs.” She later moved to Michigan where she worked in the banking industry for most of her adult life. After retiring, she later moved to Minnesota. She will be remembered most for her sweet nature that those around her felt as if they’d known her for years. Marilyn is survived by her siblings Phyllis (Jerry) Boone, Joe Bibbs Jr., and Louis Walker. Daughters Charmaine (Liam) Cavin, Claudia Chambers, and Chardae Chambers. Seven grandchildren: Cameron Chambers, Alainna Cavin, Cierra Crumb, Julian Cavin, Zoe Bulls, Zachary Chambers, and Kavian Patterson. Two nephews: Phillip Boone, and Phillip Charles. And ex-husband/longtime friend, Charles Chambers. A small private memorial site prayer will be held at a later date
