Tyrone Beck

Obituary of Tyrone L. Beck

Tyrone L. Beck (Ty), age 39, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 27, 2017 Ty was born May 3, 1977 to Tyrone and Debbie Beck who instilled in him a love for the outdoors that is unmatched. This avid outdoorsman had a bold presence and vibrant life force that radiated out into any room he was in. He didn’t mind sharing an opinion, a fishing tip or two, his love for the Minnesota Vikings [he was the ultimate fan], or his BIG bear hugs. Ty especially loved foraging for wild mushrooms, ice fishing, hunting deer, pheasant, and turkeys. He was a natural at setting traps for critters. Racoons, crawdads, and bullfrogs didn’t’ stand a chance. He had an appetite for adventure that could not be matched and he shared these adventures with so many of us. Whether exploring an ice cave or cliff jumping along the St. Croix it was all no big deal. He repped Minnesota like he was born and raised here and lived boldly as a fearless free-spirit. He was a GREAT father, a wonderful friend, and the best little brother a girl could have. Ty was an all-around beautiful human being who is sorely missed. Ty is preceded in death by Grandmother: Willie McDuffy; Grandfathers Namond Payne, and Odell Beck; and Uncle: Bobby McDuffy. Survived by: Children, Martia Beck; daughter, and sons Tyrone Beck Jr. and Blake Beck, Parents: Debbie Beck (Johnny Young) & Tyrone Beck (Pamela Holland), Siblings: Quantina Beck-Jones (Frankye), Anthony Holland, John Holland-Turner, and Stephanie Beck.
