Obituary of Kathleen M. Burns Johnson

Johnson, Kathleen (Kathy) M. Burns Age 72 of Coon Rapids, passed away April 28, 2017 of a brain aneurysm. Proceded in death by parents. Kathy was a caring, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed singing in the choir and was a very active volunteer for many years with St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. Kathy worked 31 years as a Pharmaceutical Tech. Kathy loved watching and supporting her grandchildren playing sports and dance. Enjoyed performing with the Goldentones. She loved to travel with her husband and visited many beautiful parts of the world. Survived by husband Dayle, 52 years of marriage; daughters- Julie (Bob) Brausen and Callie (Ray) Sweeney; Four grandchildren- Nicholas, Kyle, Kacey, and Jordan; Great-grandchild- Louis; Brother- Greg Burns. Funeral service Wednesday, May 3rd, 11 am at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, 707- 89th Avenue NE, Blaine, with visitation one hour prior. Burial following service at Darling Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Visitation and prayer service Tuesday, May 2nd, 4-7 pm (6:45 pm prayer service), at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park.
