Obituary of Thomas William Sershon

Thomas William Sershon, 78, of Duluth, passed away peacefully May 7th, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by his family. He was married to his "Beautiful Bride" Lila for 54 years, and had a lifelong career working for Burlington Northern Railroad. Thomas is survived by the family he loves, wife Lila (Salmi); son Gary; daughter Susan Chandler, grandchildren Sophia and Nicholas; daughter Sharon (Brian) Knox, grandchildren Blake, Mason and Zachary; brothers Dan (Trish) Sershon, Michael (Linda) Sershon, Steve (Marianne) Sershon; sister Rosanne (Peter) Hill; many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of New Perspective Senior Living of Superior, and the St. Luke's ICU nurses for their exceptional care. Memorial services will be held Tuesday May 16th from 10am at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN, with a reception to follow.
