Obituary of Shelley Denise Aus

Shelley Denise Aus, 58, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in her home in Proctor, MN. She was born in Duluth to Alford and Lorraine (Huttunen) Aus on July 19, 1958. She would later become a caretaker to both her mother and father when they fell ill, which was a great honor for her. She was the life of every party and enjoyed everything from going to sports games to going to the cabin and fishing. She most enjoyed just spending time with friends and family and of course her animals. She was loved by many, and we will never forget her and the memories that were made over the years. Survived by children Matthew Aus and Jason Jacobson of Duluth; sister, Brenda (Jim) Kildsonk of Duluth; brothers, Gary (Lori), Guy (Lavinia), Rick and Ron Aus of the Twin Cities, along with many loved cousins, nieces, nephews and her grand-dog, Felix. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alford and Lorraine and her many beloved animals. Special thanks to the St. Luke's Hospice Team and her friends and family for their support. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m., followed by the Memorial Service at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 3 at The Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, in Duluth, Minn.
