Obituary of Mabel Jarvis

Formerly of Lawton Okla., passed away peacefully at age 91 on May 22, 2017. Preceded in death by her loving husband, William E. (Bill) Jarvis as well as her parents William and Lydia Krause (Mountain View, OK), brother Eldon, and sister Gladys Dawes. Survived by daughters, Jan (Jeff) Parkman of Eagan, MN, and Carole (David) Olson of Morehead, KY; granddaughters Arason Parkman, New York City, and Marissa Parkman, Inver Grove Heights, MN; and brother Donald (Joyce) Krause of Norman, OK. Mabel graduated Wesley School of Nursing (Oklahoma City) in 1945 and worked as a RN in a number of settings before retiring from Comanche County Memorial Hospital. She was a devoted military wife during Bill’s Army career. She and Bill were long time active members of First Presbyterian Church in Lawton. Moved to MN in 2010 to be near family. Graveside service to be held July 10, 10am, Fort Sill cemetery.
