Obituary of Rita R. Svir

Rita R. Svir, 72, of Two Harbors, passed away in St. Luke's Hospital on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nels and Julia Henjum. Rita is survived by her husband Dick; children, Julie (Alan) Peters, Rich (Sara), Garett (Kimberlee); grandchildren, Ben and Mack Peters, Hallie, Nick, Tyler and Finley Svir; siblings, Mary Rosati, Sandra Buttenhoff and Butch Henjum as well as many extended family members and friends. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-3 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN. A family burial will be held at a later date.
