Obituary of Margaret Anna Overfors

Margaret Anna Overfors, 75, of Duluth, Minn. Passed away on May 23rd. Marge was born on June 30th 1943 in Michigan to Thomas and Emma Clifford. She moved to Duluth in 1952 and attended Central High School. She married Tony Overfors in 1959 and together they raised 6 children. She worked in the Duluth schools as a teacher's aide, retiring after 30 years. Discovering that retirement wasn't for her, she then worked at the Duluth Women's Club and the Dollar Tree, finally retiring for good in 2016. Marge was always on the go. She was an avid quilter, volunteered at Kids Closet, and enjoyed spending time with her red hat group and playing Bunco. She also enjoyed going to rummage sales with her bestie, Georgia, and cheering on her Minnesota Twins and Vikings. Above all else, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, hosting holidays, dinners, or just getting together to play cards. At Heaven's gate, Marge was embraced by the open arms of her beloved mother, Emma, and her husband Tony. She is survived by her children Darrell (Pam), Wendy (Brad) Jahnke, Charlene (John) Vos, Paula (Tim) Rooney, Jim, and John (Jie), brother Pat (Joan), sisters Judy (Ron), Arlene (Curt), Barb (Dale), and Mary, 19 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday June 2nd from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. memorial service at Cremation society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN 55807
