Obituary of Miles O. Johnson

Johnson, Miles O. age 92, of Bloomington, MN, passed peacefully Sunday, May 28, 2017. Preceded in death by infant sister, Marjorie; parents, Martin Johnson and Marie (Joe) Schneider; and beloved Bernice "Betty Lou" Farris. Survived by son, Randall Johnson, brother, Ronald Johnson, nieces, family and friends. Miles was quiet, thoughtful, caring and kind. He served in the Army Air Corp 1943-1946 and USAF 1951-1952. A retired state employee, Miles enjoyed collecting books with a special interest in WWII history and aviation. He enjoyed cooking, music, the theater, travel and photography. Miles was interesting, interested and enjoyed engaging with everyone he met along the way. A celebration of life will be held at 4 pm on Friday, June 2nd at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. So., Edina, MN 55435. Visitation at 3 pm.
