Obituary of Eileen Lavina Bour

Eileen Lavina Bour was born on June 25, 1930 in St. Paul, MN to Floyd & Viola (VanHorn) Lynn. She grew up in South St. Paul and graduated from South St. Paul High School in 1948. Eileen met her future husband, WWII Veteran, John Bour at a dance hall in downtown St. Paul. They were later married on September 9, 1950. They made their home on the east side of St. Paul. Eileen had many creative talents: artistry, sewing, ceramics, music re upholstery and landscaping. In high school she worked at Kriz bakery on Robert St. in West St. Paul. She also worked as a key pouch operator at St. Paul Fire and Marine and later at Farmland bank, but what brought her the most joy was learning about and studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. She may have lost her battle with Alzheimer's disease on May 30, 2017 but her hope was in a future paradise earth where she will be resurrected. Eileen is survived by her two daughters Therese (Rick) Burgess and Jo (Dane) Arndt, her Grandchildren Mitchell (Trish) Gregoire and Jessi (Chris) Kemp and Great Grandchildren Seth and Zoe Gregoire. She also has several nieces and nephews. Memorial Servies: Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses; 925 Century Ave; Maplewood, MN 55119; Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
