Obituary of Joann B. Hanson-Sanford

Joann B. Hanson-Sanford, age 84, a long-time resident of Bloomington, Minnesota, met her Lord and Savior on May 31, 2017. She is the daughter of the late Lester O. Hauge and Gertrude Hauge. Joann loved gardening, boating, and watching sports, especially the Twins. Church was an important part of her life, as were her loving friends. Joann enjoyed attending her grandchildren, Payton and Dillon’s softball and baseball games. Joann is survived by her daughter, Terrie Rowley (Gary); sons, Bruce Sauer (Sharon) and Paul Hanson (Penny); grandchildren, Nicole (Travis), Ryan (Toni), Andrew (Anna), Nicole, Kevin, Justine, Payton, and Dillon; great-grandchildren, Ty, Tanner, Avery, Adelie, Micah, and Nathaniel. Joann is preceded in death by her daughters Jyl and Michelle. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina.
