Obituary of Vila Ida English

Vila Ida English, age 94. She was born April 15, 1923. Passed away June 1, 2017. Preceded in death by husband, Richard, who was the love of her life. Survived by children: Kathy, Sharlee, Robin, Grant, Cathie and Scott; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; four nieces: Betsy, Julia, Susan and Joy and two nephews, Jim and Rick. Vi’s greatest enjoyment was time with her family. She was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Spirit of Life Presbyterian Church, 14401 Pilot Knob Road, Apple Valley. Visitation from 12:00-2:00 p.m., prior to service at church. Private interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
