Obituary of Dorothy Jean Schultz

Age 88, a long-time resident of St. Paul passed away at Saint Claire's Living Community in Mora Minnesota on June 4, 2017. Dorothy was born on May 17 in Milwaukee, WI and was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in St. Paul, belonged to the Saint Paul Hiking Club, Red Hats Society, enjoyed knitting baby hats for Hospitals and loved to travel with friends and family. Dorothy made friends wherever she went through her inviting personality. Dorothy was the first of nine children by Lillian and Alfred Schied and is survived by her loving daughter, Dianne Oaks; husband, Alfred; son-in-law, Leonard Hamann; and siblings, Gladys, Delores, Wilfred, Betty, Beverly; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; children, Carol Ruele, David Schultz, Sherry Hamann and siblings, Alvin, Vernon and Ronald. Family and friends will gather at Faith Lutheran Church on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, location 499 Charles Ave, St Paul, MN 55103. Visitation is from 10:00am-11:00am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am with lunch following the Service. Interment at a later time.
