Obituary of Donald J. Hermstad

Donald J. Hermstad, age 90, of Richfield, passed away June 12, 2017, surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by parents Arnold and Myrtle and sister Charlotte Stanius. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Marge; daughters Pam (Bruce) Santerre, Paula (Chuck) Swanson, Randi (Rob) Mitchell and son Reed (Judy) Hermstad; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and sister Helen Kuduk. Don was a WWII veteran and spent his working years at the Minneapolis Post Office. He was a man of strong faith, a loving father, grandfather and spouse and a loyal, caring friend. Service June 26, 11 AM, at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 7625 Chicago Ave, Richfield, visitation one hour prior, private interment Fort Snelling Cemetery. Memorials preferred to House of Prayer.
