He had a rich, full life of adventurous experiences. He loved his family. His main occupation was being the owner of group homes for developmentally disabled adults. He loved his clients and took them to places like DisneyWorld. He loved hunting in Mowbridge, South Dakota and fishing, always owned dogs, especially retrievers, and leaves behind fur buddy Tucker, and Jackson and Pink. He collected marbles, and old toy trucks and cars. McDonalds was his favorite place and he rarely had a day without a sausage cheese biscuit! He enjoyed boating on the river, Florida, (particularly DisneyWorld), and the State Fair. He suffered many health challenges in the last few years, although he was a prostate cancer survivor. We would especially like to tell the nurses in infusion at St. John’s that they were so appreciated and that their love and care was a miracle to us both. Special thanks, also, to our neighbor, Glenn Huber (Keri and Dio)) for all the help they provided through the medical challenges. He impacted many lives and was a wonderful father figure to Jim Ramesbothom, Jeremy King, Josh King, and Molly Richter. Service on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 1465 Victoria Ave. N., St. Paul, MN 55117 at 11:00, visitation one hour prior.
