Obituary of Thomas W. Nelson

Thomas W. Nelson passed at St.Luke's Hospital on June 16, 2017 at the age of 80. Tom is predeceased by his parents Kampton and Grace Nelson, nieces Deanna and Christie, and former wife Patricia. Tom is lovingly remembered by his children Patrick (Pam) Nelson, Paula (Todd) Moyer and Tomi-jo Nelson; brother Jerry (Nancy) Nelson; grandchildren Erin, Mark, Anna, Ally, Alyssa and Izaiah. Step-grandchildren Shanna, Allison, Garrett and Elizabeth. Tom was born in Superior Wisconsin on January 1st 1937. He graduated from East High School. Sailed the Great Lakes, work for Coca Cola, delivered Hamm's Beer, and worked for Murphy Oil for 30+years. Tom's greatest joy was his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed bowling, running, scuba diving, gardening, making sauerkraut and hunting for misdirected golf balls at Nemadji golf course. Family wishes to honor Tom's request for no public service. Tom's wishes are for his children and grandchildren to gather at the family cabin, have a bonfire and share stories that highlight all his shenanigans. Please uplift our families in your prayers.
