Obituary of William John Curtis

William "Bill" Curtis, 71, of Duluth, passed away Friday June 16th, 2017, in his home with family by his side. Bill was born on July 18th, 1945 to Robert and Lila Curtis. He worked at Clyde Iron Works and always said he was the best machinist in town. Bill married Barbara Harstad on October 1st, 1969 and were married for 47 years. They enjoyed their time fishing and camping with their four legged companion Odie and two sons. A special thank you to the Essentia Health Hospice team for the compassionate care he received. Bill preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lila. He survived by his loving wife Barbara, sons Michael and David, daughter Denise, Granddaughter Kirsten (Billy Shelton), grandsons and great-grandson Deegan who he loved dearly. By Big B's request, no services will be held. As he always said "Why feed a group of people when you can't enjoy it yourself?"
