Obituary of Pauline Ida Kukull

Pauline Ida Kukull, 91, of Superior, died on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Essentia Health. Earlier that day she received the R.S.V.P. Angel Award for service to the community and later that evening Pauline received her angel wings. Pauline was born in Long Prairie, Minnesota on November 3, 1925. Aside from raising her family, she worked at Edelstein's and served as the hospital auxiliary president and gift shop manager for 25 years. She was a member of the Women's Onaway Club and leader of the Junior Onaway Club. Pauline was also a long-time member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church where she loved to volunteer for the Foreign Exchange Student Dinners. She enjoyed sewing and crafting and was a writer of many letters and cards. Pauline savored the adventures of life and lived every moment to the fullest. Her family gave her much joy and she was a great friend to many. She was preceded in death by her mother Olga Tietz and former husband Donald Kukull Sr. Pauline is survived by her daughter Kathleen (John) Teslaw of Apple Valley, MN; son Donald (Patricia) of Superior, WI; grandchildren, Aimee (Brent) Teslaw-Tadsen, Paul (Regan) Teslaw, Anthony Kukull and Casey (Kelly) Kukull; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Logan, Chloe, Carly, Jack, Maren and Livia as well as numerous cousins and friends across the United States and furry friend Zoey. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 am until the 11 am memorial service on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church 820 Belknap St, Superior, WI.
