Obituary of Christy Ann Bearson

34 of Long Prairie, MN passed away on August 1, 2018 at HCMC Burn Unit in Minneapolis, MN due to injuries she sustained from a house explosion on June 30, 2018. Christy was born April 11, 1984 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in South Minneapolis, MN to Robert and Nancy (Crider) Bearson. Christy graduated from Long Prairie-Grey Eagle High School. Christy had a big heart for animals, especially cats, and loved to rescue the animals in need. Christy is survived by her son Christian and daughter Toni, father and step-mother Robert and Agnes Bearson of Long Prairie, special friend Rick Peterson of Long Prairie, brothers Dustin (Emma) Crider of Parkers Prairie, Tyler (Lily) Bearson of Benson, Brandon (fiancé Alexandra Dicken) of Bloomington, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Christy was preceded in death by her mother Nancy Williams in 2013, grandparents William and Bonnie Bearson, and Merwin (Mugs) and Elaine Crider. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11 o-clock at Grace Church, 1704 Hazel Hill Rd SE, Alexandria MN by Pastor Craig Dahl. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Urn bearer will be Christian Bearson.
