Obituary of John A. Wick

John A. Wick, 71, longtime Superior resident, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 1st 2018 at Twin Ports Health Services. John was born March 5th 1947 in Superior, WI to Bert and Marion (Haasis ) Wick. John graduated from Superior Central High School in 1965 and went on to attend the University of Superior. He was employed at Wick Brother's Furnace Company for several years. John was baptized Jehovah's Witness in 1984 and as a faithful witness loved sharing in and teaching other's the bible truth that had such an impact on his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother-in-law Greg Harpke, and three great nephews. John is survived by two sisters, Susan Harpke of Fall Creek, WI and Charlyn (Gary) Harris of Superior, a nephew Chuck (Tina) Harpke of Egan, MN, and one niece Lisa (David) Wuebben of Fall Creek, WI; three aunts and five great nephews. A special heartfelt thank you to Jim Abbott and Julie Johnson for their loving support of John. John's memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on August 11th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 7815 Tower Ave. in Superior.
