Obituary of Gail Marie Kocina

Kocina, Gail Marie age 77, of Brooklyn Park, passed away on June 29, 2017. She is a graduate of Minneapolis Central High School class of 1958 and a member of the Crystal VFW Dancers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Pederson; sister, Merle Quist. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 59 years, David Kocina; children: Cindy Kne (Tracy) Guderian, John Kocina, Valerie (Kevin) Loegering; grandchildren: Marcus Kocina, Bryan Kne, Rick Guderian, Luke Loegering, Abigail Loegering; many relatives and good friends. Gail enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing and working in her gardens. Gail's compassionate and gentle nature made her many friends. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she cherished her children and grandchildren. On many occasions, Gail provided care-giving to family and friends. The family wishes to thank everyone who cared for Gail during her illness. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Second Harvest Heartland. Visitation 1 hour before service.
