Obituary of Lynanne Marie Kristensen

Lynanne Marie Kristensen, 44, of Duluth, passed away at 2:10 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017 following a brief, yet courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by the people she loved. Lynanne was born in Duluth, Minnesota on June 8, 1973 to Vernon and Kathleen (Anderson) Jacobson. She was a 1991 graduate of Superior High School and worked for several area businesses lastly, Jeff Foster Trucking. Lynanne enjoyed crafts, puzzles, artwork and old movies and TV shows. She had the remarkable ability to remember numerous facts across multiple subjects. She was lovingly referred to as the walking dictionary and was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. Above all, Lynanne cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her mother Kathleen; brother John and sister Nancy. Lynanne is survived by her husband Larry; children Anna and Cindy; sister Judy Jacobson; father Vernon "Jake" as well as many extended family members and friends. The family wishes to thank the extraordinary staff at Solvay Hospice House for the care Lynanne received during her brief stay. Visitation will be held from 10 am until the 11 am Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Holy Assumption Catholic Church 5601 Tower Ave. Superior Wisconsin.
