Obituary of Stanley Arnold Berg

Age 87, of Cottage Grove, passed away on July 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by son Thomas, parents Mary and Harry, brothers Art and Linnae, and sister Kathleen Baumann. He is survived by wife Patricia (Borgerson) Berg, daughters Lori and Jodie, grandchildren Jessica Vadnais (Bobby), Roderick Combs and Jacob Bright, five great-grandchildren, sisters Lorraine Gullickson, Merry Holman (Bob), Helen Sahadi, and Sandra Hinz (Norm), brothers Phillip (Jo) and Maurice (Judy), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and then went home to Hanley Falls to farm for many years before retiring to Cottage Grove. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., to be followed by a reception until 7:00. Memorials are preferred to Friends in Need Food Shelf, P.O. Box 6, Cottage Grove, MN 55016.
