Obituary of Scott Carney Schuck
Scott Carney Schuck, 91, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, died peacefully on Monday, July 24th, 2017, just three weeks shy of his 92nd birthday.
He was born on August 14th, 1925 to Robert F. Schuck and Faye Carney Schuck and raised in Bloomington, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by wife Diane Gray, and sister Beverly Schuck Johnson. His father was a captain in the U.S. Army in WWI, and a professor of mathematics at the University of Minnesota. He married Diane Gray on March 19th, 1949. Scott graduated from Bloomington High School and served in both WWII and the Korean War. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota in 1961, and taught English for over 30 years in the Saint Paul Public School system at Como Park Junior High and Mechanic Arts. He is survived by daughters Holly Schuck of Stone Lake, Wisconsin, Randy Schuck of Morongo Valley, California, and sons Scott Wallace Schuck of Chetek, Wisconsin, Carney Schuck of Minneapolis, and Tim Schuck of Minneapolis, as well as brother John Schuck of Wayzata, Minnesota and sister Roberta Reinhardt of Bloomington, Minnesota, along with grandchildren Justin Meinhold, Maya Meinhold Shelton, Russell Henderson III, Ryan Henderson, Matthew Henderson, Patrick Waller, Randall Waller, and Corey Schuck, as well as great-grandchildren and many loving friends. Military Honors Ceremony and interment on Tuesday, August 1st at 11:15, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Avenue South in Minneapolis.
