Obituary of Mary Merrill Hatrick

HATRICK, Mary Merrill, of Buffalo, MN, age 62, passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 1, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, teacher, daughter, sister, aunt and good friend. She graduated from Luverne High School, Moorhead University and the University of Minnesota graduate school with a Masters in Special Education and Reading Recovery. Mary loved and cared for ALL children and she spent her life dedicated to them by teaching 38 years in Walnut Grove, Montevideo, and at William Byrne Elementary and Sky Oaks Elementary in Burnsville. She loved to participate in plays, school skits and bell choir for her church. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Paul; loving son, Aaron; mother, Bernadine Merrill; sisters, Martha (Kevin) Petersen, Margaret (Tim) Petrick, Missy Merrill; brothers, Mike Merrill and Mark Merrill; nieces, nephews, many caring relatives and friends. Preceded in death by father, Jack Merrill. Visitation 1 hour before service at church. Mass of Christian Burial 1030am Saturday August 12th at Church of St. Albert, 11400 57th St. NE in Albertville.
