Obituary of Jeanne K. Eustis

Jeanne K. Eustis, age 98, of Minneapolis, passed away August 3, 2017. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Arthur; parents, Margaret and Looe Baker; brother, Looe Baker, Jr. and twin sister, Mary Harris. Survived by daughters, Pamela (Peter) Reis and Margaret (Bob) Leland and son, Mark (Margie) Eustis; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. Jeanne grew up in Minneapolis, was a graduate of Washburn High School and the University of Minnesota and was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She enjoyed family and friends and loved the outdoors, gardening, needlework and “lake life”. Later in life, she and her brother enjoyed traveling the world together, making new friends and memories along the way. She was blessed to have many friends at Friendship Village – Bloomington, where she spent the last ten years of her life. After a short battle with pancreatic cancer, she died peacefully in the compassionate and loving hands of the staff at Little Hospice in Edina. Private memorial service.
