Obituary of Tim A. Johnson

Age 63, of Bloomington, passed away on 8/5/17 surrounded by his loved ones. An ace pitcher in his youth, he easily made friends on and off the baseball field. His youth was filled with many activities including Boy Scouts and family outings. Shortly after graduating high school he married Colleen and they had a daughter, Tricia. His blood ran purple and gold as he cheered his beloved Vikings to victory every season. He was also an avid NASCAR and baseball fan. There was always a sporting event broadcasting into his home. His love of sports was only out shined by the love he had for his friends and family. He met the love of his life, Susan, while working at J Klein Chevrolet. Soon after they had a daughter, Angela. He filled their lives with adventure as they embarked on every cruise he could book. The highlight of his travels was the two-week excursion to Europe with his wife, Susan. Preceded in death by father, Lowell; mother, Doreen; sister, Penny; brother, Billy. Survived by wife, Susan; daughters, Tricia and Angela; granddaughters, Sophie and Ella; sister, Debbie; brother, Steve; mother-in-law, Elaine; many other relatives and friends. Memorial service on Wed. 8/9 at 6pm with visitation at 4pm at Cremation Society of MN – Edina, 7110 France Ave.
