Westerheide, Carol J.

Age 65 of Woodbury, MN Carol “Cairdo” Jane Westerheide passed away on December 27, 2022.  She was married to the man of her dreams, John David Westerheide III for 41 years. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Hubert Erkmann. She is survived by her loving husband, Dave, her oldest daughter, Katie, her son-in-law, Carmino, her son, Joe, and her youngest daughter, Megan, as well as her brothers, John (Jane), Jim (Mary), Joe (Dawn), Chris (Linda) and her sisters, Mary Ellen and Cathy. Besides being a wife and mom, her favorite role was Grandma to Dominic, Damien, Devon, and Jaxon.

Carol was spunky, fun, loving, and threw a heck of a party. She could parallel park a classic limousine on the opposite side of the street. One of the mantras Carol lived by was to never exclude anyone. Everyone was welcome in her home and she made sure they knew it. Carol was thoughtful, creative, and an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandma.

A memorial mass and luncheon will be held at Guardian Angels in Oakdale, MN at 11am on January 12, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the University of Minnesota Foundation.
