Obituary of Earl Leslie Hacking

Hacking, Earl Leslie Jr. Chinook, MT Earl passed away August 6, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, Earl grew up in Minneapolis, permanently moving to Montana in 2004. He loved hunting, fishing, dogs, telling old stories around a campfire and talking about dreams over breakfast (it's where he had his best ideas). His passions took him all over the world with family and friends. Preceded in death by grandson, Earl Leslie Hacking V; brothers, Thomas and John; parents, Earl and Sally. Survived by daughter, Leslie Hacking (Wayne Petrie); son, Earl Leslie Hacking IV (Alissia); grandchildren, Jake and Logann; sister Mary Hacking and niece Sarah and his girlfriend, Susan Neville. His family and many great friends will remember him warmly (and with great humor) and miss him greatly. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 12th at Lakewood Memorial Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave So, Mpls. Visitation 2:30 pm. Blaze orange encouraged. Come with a story to share.
