Obituary of Deborah Lou Ingram

Deborah (Debbie) Lou Ingram of Edina, MN, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2022, at the age of 68, after a brave battle with cancer.

Debbie was a kind, caring and compassionate soul, who was born in Denver, CO, on July 14, 1954, and she dearly loved the mountains of her birth state. She had a strong Christian faith which gave her peace and comfort during final days.

Debbie loved music, and she played both the clarinet and trumpet. During her music years, she was a member of the St. Olaf College band, and the Bloomington Medalist Concert Band. She made many dear friends during these musical years. She also loved Hawaii and the ocean, where she spent many wonderful years.

She is preceded in death by parents James Ernest Ingram and Lucille Alice Ingram (Brummond).

She is survived by her sister Sandra Kay-Ingram Serrano (husband James), nieces Breanne Ingram Ebanks (husband Gregory) and Brittany Nyberg Nelson (husband Jeffrey Uss), and grand-nieces/nephew Khloe, Naomi, Isla, and Chase, as well as many dear cousins and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, and burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis. These services will be held in May of 2023, allowing time for family to attend.
