Obituary of Robert Toivo Aho

Aho, Robert Toivo of Brooklyn Center, MN passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 97. Born and raised in Chisholm, MN - a proud Iron Ranger. Preceded in death by loving wife Marion, Son Gary Aho, Grandson Brian Aho, parents Toivo and Eva Aho and sister Bertha Hartmann.

Survived by Son Wayne (Connie), much loved Grand-daughter Teresa and nieces and nephews.

Proudly served in the US Army during World War II, earning a Purple Heart. After returning home, he earned a mechanic degree from Dunwoody Institute before starting a long, successful career with Dayton’s. He married the love of his life, Marion, sharing a full, wonderful life with her. A gentle man that will be greatly missed.

A celebration is planned in spring at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
