Obituary of Mary Lou Marshall Whitmore

Mary Lou Marshall Whitmore, 68 of Duluth, MN passed away at St Mary's hospital with her family by her side on August 9, 2017. Mary was born to John Marshall and Beatrice Shvegel on September 22, 1948. Mary was a cook at Jim's Hamburgers for many years. She loved spending time with family, knitting and playing darts. She had a great smile and is going to be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her Father, John Marshall, her mother, Beatrice Shvegel and her stepfather, Edward Shvegel. She is survived by her fiance Gary Hopponen,son Edward Fisher (Becca), daughter Dawn Marie Fisher, sister Luci (Bart) Beyer, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. on August 25, 2017 with Services starting at 10 a.m. as a Cremation Society 4100 Grand Avenue. Reception following at the Gnesen Community Center 6356 Howard Gnesen Road 12 noon.
