Obituary of Lawrence L. Shevchuk

Lawrence L. Shevchuk age 64, longtime resident of the Duluth area passed away peacefully Sunday, August 13, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 25, 1952 in Hibbing to Peter A. and Jean M. Shevchuk. Larry served honorably in the U.S. Army. He retired from Veit as a truck driver. On March 25, 1994 Larry married Carol Booker, the love of his life. He loved golf, fishing and especially family gatherings. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Becky (Shane) Hansen, Jeremy (Christy) Shevchuk, Bryan (Cindy) Moe and Brenda Iverson-Bernsten; ten grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; sister Mary (Dale) Salzl and brothers, James Mason, Paul (Sandy) Shevchuk, Pete Shevchuk, Wayne (Liz) Shevi, Robert (Leanne) Shevchuk and Timmy Shevchuk; many nieces, nephews, great friends and his fur buddy, Max. A special thank you to St. Luke's Hospice nurses and staff.
