Obituary of Richard Roy Kleiner

Richard "Dick" Roy Kleiner, 76, of Foxboro, WI, passed away peacefully in his home, with family members present, Monday, Aug. 14, 2017. Dick was born in Cleveland, OH, March 9, 1941 to Arthur and Louise Kleiner. He came to Duluth in 1959, where he worked as a floor coverer for 52 years. Dick was united in marriage to Sandra Grab on Oct. 14, 1978. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing on Lake Superior. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Howard Kleiner; and brother, Larry. Dick is survived by his wife, Sandra; Children, Tina (Paul) Knowlton of Foxboro, Tammy Kleiner of Superior, Terry (Stacy) of Alborn, and Traci Kleiner of Duluth; step-children, he raised as his own, John (Linda) Symiczek of California, Julie (Bryan) Baker of New Mexico, Janice (James) Carter of Duluth, Janel (Terry) Reed of Princeton, MN, and James Symiczek of Stacy, MN; 25 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Luke's Hospice, with a special thanks to nurse, Debbie. As per his wishes, no memorial services will be held.
