Obituary of James Patrick Conway

James Patrick Conway Jr., age 64, of Edina, passed away August 15, 2017. Jim worked for Xcel Energy for many years. Recovering himself, Jim then went on to work for H.E.A.R.T., where he helped many people on their journey back to sobriety. Preceded in death by mother, Harriet; sisters: Pamela, Patricia McClellan and Polly. Survived by loving father, James Patrick Conway Sr. (Mary Harrigan); special friend, Kristin Gates Younger; nieces, Meaghan McClellan (Mary Harsha) and Mara (Chance) Williams; aunts: Gloria (Phil) Sheehan, Barbara (Dwight) Soucy and Nancy Conway; brother-in-law, Doug McClellan and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to charity of donor’s choice.
