Obituary of Charles Bankey

Bankey, Charles “Chuck” Age 79, of Richfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 22, 2017. Raised in Superior, WI. Attended Superior Central High School class of 1955. Moved to Minneapolis in 1963. His occupations included banking, real estate and stucco repair. Preceded in death by parents, Paul and Edna and brother, Ed. Chuck will be deeply missed and survived by loving wife of 40 years, Jan; children, Don (Dianna), Laurie, Vicki (Bolivar) Burga, Scott (Nykki), Eric (Nicole) and Missy (Jeff) Husaby; grandchildren, Aubree, Corrina, Chayil, Christine, Jake, Evan, Julia and Charli; sister-in-law, Elvi; many other loving relatives and good friends. Celebration of Chuck’s life will be from 1-4 pm with a service starting at 1:30 pm on Sunday, September 24th at the State Fair History & Heritage Center, West End Market off of Dan Patch Avenue. Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
