Obituary of Sandy Thomas

Thomas, Sandy (Shetka) Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. Reunited with her parents and her daughter Wendy on August 23, 2017. Survived by David, her husband of 45 years. Daughters; Leanne (David) Jerusal, Vicki (Jerry) Taylor, Lynette (Paula Dias) Wright and son, Dean (Liz) Thomas. Grandchildren; Melissa (Randy) Ballard, Dave Jerusal, Jennifer (Rick Roppolo) Jerusal, Erin (Devon) Byron, Christian Thomas, Daniella Thomas, Adrian Melgoza, Brandon Thomas and great-grandchildren, Carter and Aria – who were the lights of her life. Sisters; Gail (Brian) Tourville and Mary Ann Jouppe and brother, Tom (Suzanne) Shetka and many nieces, nephews, and friends She loved David, traveling, reading, gardening, her dogs and wine and truly enjoyed spending time with her many friends at the Woodbury YMCA, Mille Lacs Lake, and Sgt. Peppers. A special heart-felt thank you to Rick, Amie and the many care givers from Fairview Hospice who brought comfort and ease to Sandy’s final weeks. We will celebrate her life on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 11 am -3 pm at Sgt. Peppers – 930 Helena Ave N, Oakdale. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
