Obituary of Sally Hurd

Sally Johnson Hurd at the age of 89, completed her life's journey on August 27, 2017. She was welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband Bud, along with at least a dozen of her golden retrievers. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children Jim Hurd (Roz Beckman), Cathy Senescall (John) and Charlie Hurd (Jacie). “Mor Mor” adored her 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and cherished her dog, “Lucky”. Sally lived her life fully in both Cottagewood, USA and most recently Trillium Woods where she embraced her new community with gusto! Over the years her family and many friends were the happy recipients of her love of cooking and entertaining. She inspired us by example, to try new things and continually learn. Sally will be missed but always remembered by the many who knew and loved her. A party in her honor will be held on Saturday, September 9th from 4-7pm at Trillium Woods, 5855 Cheshire Pkwy, Plymouth, MN 55446. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
