Obituary of Mark Edward Kranz

KRANZ, Mark Edward, age 54, of St. Michael, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2017 surrounded by loving family and friends. His heroic struggle with Kidney Cancer has come to an end. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Lou (Vos) Kranz; father in-law, Ronald Kerkow; sister in-law, Carolyn Kranz. He will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Melissa (Kerkow); their twin children, Mason and Madelyn “Maddie”; his loyal dog, Oakley; siblings, Stephen (Patricia), David, William Jr. (Ellen), Jonathan (Joanne), Christopher (Sharon); mother in-law, Judith Kerkow; brother in-law, James Kerkow; sister in-law, Mari Reed (Randy); many dear nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; the “Genius Club”; and wonderful friends. Celebration of Life 11:00am Friday, September 8 at Word of Peace Lutheran Church, 21705 129th Ave. N., Rogers with visitation at church 2 hours before service. A Gathering of Friends and Family for our Hero, Mark will follow the service at 2:30pm at a private home. Directions and details will be available at the church.
