Obituary of Peter Allen Schmidt

Peter Allen Schmidt, 60, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in Pine Springs, MN. He was born on February 7, 1957 to Alfred and Constance Schmidt. Peter lived in Minnesota for the last six years to be closer to his daughter, Laura. Peter spent most of his career in real estate and remodeling properties. When not working, Peter loved spending time with his family at his cottage on Sandy Lake in Neshkoro, WI. Everyone considered him "Mr. Fix-It" as he was very handy with his wide variety of tools. Peter also loved hunting, fishing, cooking, and the thrill of a "deal". Peter is survived by his daughters Laura Elizabeth (Dan) Boche and Maggie Marie Schmidt, grandchildren Ada Mae and Beau Christian Boche, sister Patricia (John) Prohl, brother James (Claudia) Schmidt, five nieces, a nephew, as well as other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Marjorie. Join us for a celebration of life on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church 227 N. State St., Neshkoro, WI 54960. Visitation at 10:00 A.M. with service to follow at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations towards a trust fund for Peter's grandchildren would be appreciated.
