Obituary of Orin Holtan

Age 75 of Burnsville, MN. Passed away Sept 1, 2017. Preceded in death by parents Howard and Hilma and sister Virginia. Survived by loving wife of 49 years, Shirley (nee Zachman); sons Erik (Melissa); John; Mark (Shana); 7 grandchildren. Orin was a veteran; Jr. High teacher of industrial arts; wood working and street rods were his passion; loved Corvettes. He lived his life as a consummate perfectionist. He served on Burnsville planning commission. Skip loved to help people especially volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. Mass of Remembrance for Skip on Friday, Sept 8, 2017 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior; luncheon to follow; All services at Church of the Risen Savior; 1501 Cty Rd 42 E; Burnsville, MN . Private burial at Fort Snelling. Memorials to family for brain cancer research.
