Obituary of Robert Achhamer

Achhamer, Robert of Mpls. passed away Friday, Sept 1, 2017, at age 54, after a long struggle with young-onset Alzheimer's disease. Bob is survived by the true joys of his life, sons Jack Henry and George Robert. Family, Kate and Mark DuPont of Mpls, mother Genevieve and sisters Kris (Marie) and Karen Achhamer, all of Florida. Preceded by father, Robert Achhamer, Sr. Bob was born and raised in Hialeah, Florida. He graduated from Florida State University with a BFA and a passion for art and technology. He came to Minneapolis in 1990 and began a successful career in advertising and technology. Bob will be vibrantly and lovingly remembered for his kindness, his great giggle, an extraordinary talent in the arts and his zen-like ability to actually know what computers are thinking. Bob's passion for his sons, and his deep joy in raising and spending time with them is unparalleled. They are his greatest legacy.
